Description
For a liquid-tight seal, UNISEAL® is the world’s best and cheapest watertight tank passage for relatively thin walls.
UNISEALS offer more versatility than a traditional passageway, handling irregularities and curves with ease.
The UNISEAL® offers a long service life, easy installation and a reduction in labor and material costs.
They can withstand pressure and vacuum up to 4.5 bar (65 psi).
Manufactured with Alcryn by DuPont®, they are resistant to most chemical compounds, as well as acids, oils, greases, gasoline, wastewater, waste, heat and cold (-40°C – 100°C)
For optimum results in straight or curved applications, the UNISEAL® is the only choice to meet your sealing needs.
Installation is simple:
Drill a hole in the wall (see table below for diameters!), make sure the edges are smooth and not sharp and then place the UNISEAL®.
We recommend using silicone or another sealant for a perfect seal.
Bevel the tube and lubricate the bevel with a lubricant (silicone grease or plain soapy water). Then push the tube through the seal.
If the tube does not pass through the Uniseal even with great pressure, the bore can be filed slightly.
The specific shape of the seal allows for expansion at the passage of the pipe, ensuring the required seal even on slightly curved surfaces such as round tanks.
More information about how to install can be found here.
